Digital Management Immediately Expands at Maxwell AFB with its Second Three-year Prime Contract
Company supports the development of Air Force Theater Medical Information Program
Bethesda, MD—September 19, 2008–Digital Management, Inc., announced today that it has been selected by the U.S. Air Force to provide broad information technology support for the Theater Medical Information Program – Air Force (TMIP-AF).
TMIP-AF is a modern software suite that automates and integrates clinical care documentation, medical supply and equipment, and patient movement and in-transit visibility in a mobile healthcare setting, for over 70 Air Force medical treatment facilities worldwide. TMIP-AF enables warfighting Commanders-In-Chief to track trends, take preventive action, and keep their forces fit through the new ability to gather, analyze, and make use of collective medical information. TMIP-AF is managed under the Air Force Headquarters 554th Electronic Systems Group, Medical Information Systems Branch (HQ 554 ELSG/SBG) at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama.
Under this three-year contract, Digital Management will provide services integral to defining TMIP-AF capabilities and ensuring their implementation and operational success. Digital Management will perform functional systems analysis, test development, and system installation, and provide customer support and field assistance. The contract also encompasses providing system administration, systems integration, application testing, configuration management, and documentation development support.

Digital Management’s TMIP-AF contract award occurs right on the heels of its first prime contract with the Air Force – announced yesterday – with the 754th ELSG to support the lifecycle software development of the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS). Now, this second Air Force prime contract to support TMIP-AF further establishes Digital Management’s presence at Maxwell AFB and positions the company to be able to serve additional Air Force modernization and transformation needs.
