The Challenge

A US Federal Agency was using paper-based tools to collect data from various sources on HIV epidemics. The paper-based tool posed many challenges given that the collection data was coming from many sources around the world.

MODERN APPLICATION REPLACES PAPER-BASED PROCESSES

The new mobile application provides the ability to collect data easily and effortlessly, as well as in multiple languages. With both offline and online support as well as synchronization with backend systems, the application securely stores data for future analysis.

DASHBOARD PROVIDES INVALUABLE INSIGHTS + TOOLS

A web portal provides operational dashboards, data export services and portal authentication – empowering employees to view & parse data in ways never possible with the paper-based process.

ONGOING DEVICE AND SERVICE MANAGEMENT

The survey application is provided as a Platform as a Service (PaaS), while the management of tablet devices is offered through an Enterprise Mobility Management approach.

Results

The Agency has benefited from a flexible, higher quality survey solution that allows the organization to scale to meet their objectives and achieve mission success in addressing global HIV/AIDS challenges. The survey process time has been reduced from 45+ days, to under 24 hours.
