Virginia-based digital transformation services provider DMI is integrating Appvance’s artificial intelligence-based testing platform into its market offerings under a partnership agreement with the software company.
Called AIQ, the platform was upgraded in December to include a new generative AI solution that Appvance designed to enhance functions such as defect detection, object recognition, bug-finding, and reporting.
According to DMI Chief Technology Officer Gary Wang, a past Potomac Officers Club event speaker and 4×24 member, Appvance’s AIQ provides faster application delivery to customers at a lower cost and higher quality, DMI said.
Appvance, based in Santa Clara, California, had previously partnered with Peraton on AIQ‘s deployment to support digital transformation projects in the government sector.
Andre Liao, Appvance CEO, pointed out that AIQ’s adoption as a foundation of DMI’s AI-first quality software delivery represents the companies’ joint commitment to digital initiatives accelerating customer success.
DMI’s customers include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which awarded the company a $27 million contract in January for on-site application hosting and monitoring services to CDC centers in Atlanta.
Established in 2002, DMI obtained a strategic investment in October 2021 from an affiliate of New York private equity company OceanSound Partners to support its product and geographical expansion. The company has nine U.S. locations and a market presence in Canada, Europe, Asia and North America.
