Challenge

A global retailer, with stores across 68 countries, wanted to modernize their stores by utilizing mobile, tablets, and RFID technology to streamline processes for their store representatives and to automate in-store tasks, allowing more time for real customer interaction.
They were looking for a strategic partner that would help them not only implement change, but also provide continuous consulting throughout their journey. They wanted a provider who could be agile with a forward-thinking mindset that put the experience of their customers and employees first.
DMI had developed a relationship with the client prior to competitive sourcing and led with a strategy-based proposal. This strategy proposed full Managed Mobility Services on a global scale, with flexibility for continuous change and opportunities for improvement and scalability.

Solution

DMI implemented Workspace ONE to manage the mobile devices and deployed the first round of equipment to two countries in under 14 days across Asia and Europe.
DMI delivered a holistic global process for ordering, device provisioning and deployment, inventory, break/fix, and troubleshooting, backed by our 24/7 mobility help desk.
A foolproof repeatable program was created to allow for scalability and reliability over thousands of global locations.
