TYSONS, VA – September 9, 2025 – DMI is proud to announce its certification to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the latest global standard for information security management systems, achieved ahead of the industry’s compliance deadline. Combined with DMI’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0, the achievement underscores the company’s ability to protect sensitive data across cloud-based, remote, and highly regulated environments.

This milestone reflects DMI’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding client data, strengthening cybersecurity practices, and maintaining compliance with evolving international standards.

The 2022 revision addresses modern challenges including cloud computing, remote work, and emerging cyber threats. By meeting these enhanced requirements early, DMI sets a high bar for proactive risk management and operational resilience.

“This certification upgrade is a strategic investment in trust, transparency, and technological excellence,” said Gary Wang, Chief Technology Officer at DMI. “It gives our federal and commercial customers confidence that their data and missions are protected with the highest standards in information security.”

With this achievement, DMI now holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for information security management, alongside its ISO 9001:2015 quality management and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 IT service management certifications. DMI has also achieved the U.S. Department of Defense’s CMMC 2.0. These certifications validate DMI’s ongoing commitment to protecting data, delivering consistent quality, and ensuring reliable IT service operations.

“DMI has demonstrated its commitment to world-class information security management by achieving certification to the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard,” said Ed Maschmeier, Vice President of PRI Certification. “They join an elite group of organizations worldwide who have achieved this globally recognized information security certification.”
