While White House Black Market didn’t have a mobile application, their mobile site provided some valuable tools and content to shoppers. The site allowed shoppers to view items, and view inventory availability in specific stores – or multiple locations based on your current location. Shoppers are not, however, able to reserve the item or buy online and pickup in store. Shoppers are also able to live chat with customer service representatives and gives information on where sale items are located within certain stores. Overall, for not having a dedicated mobile application – the White House Black Market mobile website does a fair job of aiding shoppers through the in-store experience via mobile. A broader feature set focused around pricing, promotions and personalization would be a great next step for the retailer.
