Victoria’s Secret mobile application is, for the most part, simply an ecommerce platform to purchase from your device and has little interaction with any of their physical stores. There is a scanning feature available that connects to Victoria’s Secrets catalogs. While catalogs might seem outdated in today’s digital era, it was reported that about one-fourth of their sales come from their website and catalogs ($1.6B out of $6.6B). The scanning feature, however, did not seem to function well and was slow. The application also allows users to get insider access – notifications about special offers, news, or events at your local store. There is lots of content about the Victoria’s Secret angels, and heavy imagery. There’s a good volume of this content, which also includes reviews, but slow load times and a dysfunctional scanning feature left a lot to be desired.
