Our Take
The Children’s place mobile application had very limited capabilities as it related to the in-store shopping experience. This was made even worse due to the fact that there was limited cell phone service in the store – and no wifi available. The application itself was a version of the mobile website, giving shoppers the ability to shop on the go. The store has a fairly robust rewards program and discounts when you shop via their mobile site – however, shoppers aren’t able to register via the mobile application. Overall, the application provided little to no benefit to the in-store shopping experience other giving shoppers access to product reviews and advice.
