Kate Spade did not offer a mobile application and we found that the in-store shopping experience was not improved by using their mobile website. However, the information that was available included: inventory at local stores, pricing information, and reviews and related products (although this was slow on the mobile site). Since Kate Spade stores are small in size, there is less of a need to provide guidance to specific items or aisles. However, with a high-end female target audience, updating the shopping experience to be more personalized or linked to a rewards or elite shopper experience would be beneficial.
