The Jared’s Galleria of Jewelry application was simply a digital catalog. Location services didn’t seem to function, and most items that were featured in the application could not be purchased in-store. The products that were featured in the application, users were able to view pricing information, and if they were available in-store or online (most of which were only online). Jewelry stores are only beginning to dip their toes into the world of mobile in-store experiences, but with a deep understanding of their shoppers and a specific product skew, Jared’s should have the ability to tailor their mobile experience so it is impactful and beneficial.
