Charlotte Russe offers both a mobile site and a mobile application, however, they seem to have the same limited ecommerce functionality. The application had a product scanner, but it did not function well both in the store, and when the shopper returned home. The application provides content about the products, mainly Instagram photographs. Once you click the photo, shoppers are taken to product pages that contain those items. Other than those features, the mobile experience Charlotte Russe provided was minimal. Expanding beyond ecommerce capabilities for this retailer would be beneficial for their millennial audience.
