Aeropostale’s application is simply a wrapped version of their mobile website and does not take advantage of any native app functionality. The app gives users the ability to locate nearby stores, and access in-store promotions and offers. But beyond that, there is little connection between the in-store and online experiences. While in-store, the brand doesn’t provide any tools to support or enhance the shopping experience. In a category full of un-impressive applications and limited in-store functionality, any improvements to the features that Aeropostale’s app offers would be beneficial.
