Digital Management’s Healthcare Division Awarded a Three-Year Contract to Provide Help Desk Support
Digital Management’s First Contract Servicing the U.S. Army to Assist Planned Systems International with Tier I and Tier II Help Desk Support
Bethesda, MD—December 9, 2009 – Digital Management, Inc. (www.digitalmanagement.com), a leading IT solutions and business strategy consulting firm, announced today that it has been awarded a three-year contract to assist Planned Systems International with Tier I and Tier II Help Desk Support for the Military Health Systems at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center’s Customer Support Center in Fort Gordon, GA. Digital Management was chosen to support Planned Systems International for its extensive military medical experience and the success of its Healthcare Division. This contract expands Digital Management’s Department of Defense (DoD) presence as a first contract with the U.S. Army.
The mission of the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center’s Information Division is to develop, integrate and maintain information technology and communication capabilities in support of healthcare delivery within the Medical Center and its remote clinics. The Medical Center provides medical support to military members, family members and military retirees at Fort Gordon, GA, the Augusta, GA, surrounding area and remote clinics.
The Medical Center’s Customer Support Center receives work orders through referral from the Army Medical Command’s Enterprise Service Desk or from walk-in requests by the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center staff. Digital Management’s Tier I Technicians handle walk-in support requests and conduct software troubleshooting, while the Tier II Technicians resolve software and hardware support requests.
