Digital Management Wins Lifecycle Software Development Contract with U.S. Air Force

Company builds upon its DoD presence with prime contract at Maxwell Air Force Base, Gunter Annex

Bethesda, MD—September 18, 2008–Digital Management, Inc., announced today that it has been selected by the U.S. Air Force (AF) to provide full lifecycle software development support for the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS).

ARMS is an on-line system that supports Operations Group Commanders, aircrew supervisors, and managers, providing operations management information to support implementation of AF flight management policies. ARMS ensures that the status of AF flying programs are available to operations managers for resource allocation decision-making; provides accurate tracking of flying and ground training programs; and provides timely aircrew information and flying hours for AF aircrew members worldwide. ARMS development is managed under the Air Force Headquarters 754th Electronic Systems Group (HQ 754 ELSG/SB) at Maxwell Air Force Base, Gunter Annex in Montgomery, Alabama.

Under this three-year contract, Digital Management will provide comprehensive lifecycle support for ARMS, including project management, requirements analysis and management, software development, testing, implementation, system security and information assurance, database management, software maintenance, training, and sustainment services. The Air Force will leverage Digital Management’s expertise leading government transformation as it seeks to modernize ARMS under this contract, implementing a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and migrating ARMS to the Global Combat Support System – Air Force (GCSS-AF) framework.

This contract is Digital Management’s first prime contract with the U.S. Air Force and also establishes the company’s presence at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama.
