Digital Management Wins Five-year Telecommunications Network Support Contract with U.S. Navy

Company further expands its DoD presence with prime contract at Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River Maryland (PAX)

Bethesda, MD—December 12, 2008 — Digital Management, Inc., announced today that it has been selected by the U.S. Navy to provide telecommunications network support services for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR)’s Base Telephone Office (BTO) at Patuxent River, MD.

BTO operates within the Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM) Department of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), providing voice communication services, video circuits, and long haul data communication links for NAVAIR and other Navy offices and centers. The IT/IM Department is responsible for day-to-day communications operations as well as long-range planning efforts to utilize emerging new technologies and comply with Defense and Navy policies and directives.

Under this five-year contract, Digital Management will provide comprehensive telecommunications systems engineering, software engineering, operational support, and system maintenance support for NAVAIR’s extensive telecommunications network that includes a Lucent digital central office circuit switching system, seven optical remote modules, over 26,000 integrated services digital network (ISDN) and analog phone lines and handsets, voice mail service with over 12,000 accounts, and cellular phone service for 2,600 phones. Digital Management will also leverage its expertise in government transformation, providing long range planning recommendations to help expand telecommunications systems capability, improve engineering and system design, and enhance interoperability.

This contract with NAVAIR’s BTO spans a wide array of some of our core capabilities in enterprise information services and systems modernization. This contract is Digital Management’s first prime contract with the U.S. Navy and establishes the company’s presence at the Patuxent River Naval Air Warfare Center. It also comes right on the heels of Digital Management’s two recent multi-year contract awards with the Air Force, further expanding the company’s presence in DoD.
