Digital Management Wins $25 Million IDIQ Contract to Provide Information Technology Investment Management (ITIM) Support to Small Business Administration (SBA)

New Contract Extends Company’s Successful Seven-Year Relationship with SBA

Bethesda, MD—February 03, 2010Digital Management, Inc., a leading IT solutions and business strategy consulting firm, announced today it has won a $25M Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to continue supporting its enterprise Information Technology Investment Management (ITIM) program. The IDIQ was also awarded to two additional organizations.

Under the contract, Digital Management will provide SBA OCIO with a full range of ITIM services and technical management expertise services to help the agency further leverage information technology to accomplish its strategic goals and mission.

Digital Management has served the agency for the past seven years, becoming the leader in supporting the management of the Agency’s IT Investments. Through the application of portfolio management automation, Program Management and EA/CPIC process integration, Digital Management has been integral to advancing SBA’s ITIM maturity. Digital Management is now extending its contributions to the Agency, implementing an overarching Quality Control Plan for SBA OCIO that incorporates the company’s ISO 9001 and CMMI Level 3 processes. The Quality Control Plan will facilitate improved IT Investment Management and Operations, Business Process Automation, Systems and Network Implementation, and Program and Project Management.

Digital Management will help establish SBA OCIO as an ITIM Center of Excellence within the Federal Government. The company will apply portfolio financial analytics and improved data integrity for Exhibit 300s to continue enhancing SBA’s capital planning and governance processes; ensure strategic alignment between the Agency’s IT investments and its business objectives; and ensure that appropriate technology solutions, infrastructure and architecture are implemented.
