Digital Management Re-Awarded a Seat on the 10-Year, $15B Alliant Small Business Contract
Company chosen as one of the few small businesses best able to provide worldwide technology solutions and support to the federal government.
Bethesda, MD—December 22, 2008 – Digital Management, Inc., announced today that it has been re-selected by the General Services Administration (GSA) as one of the Alliant Small Business (Alliant SB) contract winners. Digital Management was one of only 72 companies across the country awarded a seat on Alliant SB.
Alliant SB, a small business set-aside government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC), is a competitive multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity set-aside small business contract. It is designed to provide worldwide management and information technology (IT) solutions to federal agencies, while strengthening federal contracting opportunities for small business companies and providing federal agencies a convenient vehicle to help reach their small business procurement goals. With a contract ceiling of $15B over the next 10 years, Alliant SB is expected to be nearly as large as GSA’s largest schedule contract, Schedule 70, with $17B in sales.
Alliant SB is the first small-business set-aside GWAC that GSA has awarded and provides an exceptionally broad suite of services for agencies to meet their IT requirements. GSA’s Alliant SB contract enables federal agencies to easily procure tailored IT solutions and services from Digital Management including infrastructure, applications, IT management, and emerging technology. Under Alliant SB, Digital Management will provide integrated IT solutions for evolving federal government needs on a global basis.
“We are honored to be selected as one of the country’s premier small businesses, worthy of providing services on a long-term basis to GSA’s federal clients around the globe. This contract vehicle will provide us with enormous potential for business growth and a tremendous opportunity to help GSA and its clients implement transformational IT initiatives across the federal government,” said Jay Sunny Bajaj, CEO, Digital Management.
The Alliant SB contract was originally awarded to Digital Management in December 2007. The contract was re-awarded last week after a re-evaluation of submitted proposals following a protest.
