Digital Management Expands Strategic Consulting Practice
W. Price Roe, Former Counselor to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Joins Digital Management as Vice President of Strategic Consulting.
Bethesda, MD—July 14, 2009—Digital Management, Inc., a leading IT solutions and business strategy consulting firm, announced today that W. Price Roe, Former Counselor to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has joined the firm as Vice President of Strategic Consulting. In this role, Roe will oversee the growth and delivery of DMI’s broad range of business transformation services to federal agencies, including enterprise architecture, IT investment management and capital planning, and business process re-engineering.
In his new role, Mr. Roe will lead Digital Management’s team of senior consultants who represent the latest in business and technology strategy, software systems modernization, enterprise IT, and cybersecurity. Digital Management’s experienced teams are currently partnered with more than 25 Federal agencies to provide strategic consulting services in the areas of:
- Organizational change management
- IT strategic planning

Prior to joining Digital Management, Mr. Roe was Counselor to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security where he advised Secretary Michael Chertoff on national preparedness and security issues. Before DHS, Price served as Senior Policy Advisor to the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Justice where he worked on IT national security and special management projects. He also served for a short time at the Directorate of National Intelligence to help launch the Information Sharing Environment.
Before joining the federal government in 2003, Price was a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Menlo Park office where he helped build and launch Heidrick’s interim practice and recruited top executives for Fortune 1000 and early stage companies. He began his career at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and spent five years in their Change Management group where he focused on enterprise software solutions and implementation.
Price graduated cum laude from Colgate University and earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
