Digital Management Developing Strategic Plan for Small Business Administration

Company helping Agency Office of the Chief Information Officer prepare for administration transition

Bethesda, MD—October 7, 2008–Digital Management, Inc., announced today that it has been contracted by the Small Business Administration (SBA) to help the Agency develop a Transition Strategic Plan for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to help it prepare for the new administration entering office in 2009.

Since 2003, Digital Management has been providing a broad range of services for the SBA OCIO, including Enterprise Architecture, IT Portfolio and Project Management, e-Government support, and Capital Planning and Management. DMI’s critical contributions to the SBA help integrate the Agency’s full range of OCIO activities to enable seamless provisioning of information technology (IT) services to the small business and disaster victim clients the Agency serves. Most recently, Digital Management helped the SBA dramatically improve its capital planning, reporting and submissions to the Office of Management and Budget.

Under this new effort, Digital Management, along with its teaming partner, Strategic Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (www.sesolutions.com), will develop a strategic plan for OCIO IT initiatives, illustrating for the incoming administration how IT assets can be best applied to achieve mission success over the next four years.

“Any new administration will be expecting to see how the Agency’s IT assets can be optimized. As the Agency’s prime contractor responsible for capital planning and program management office support, Digital Management is in a unique position to understand the value the OCIO can provide. We are privileged to be working with the SBA at this strategic level, helping the Agency define a roadmap for the future”, said Jay Sunny Bajaj, CEO, Digital Management.
