INCREASED INSPECTOR PRODUCTIVITY BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO RELEVANT DATA
The ChallengeA branch of the US Armed Forces' inspectors had to carry 50lbs of manuals for each ship boarding and were required to complete paper documents in all weather conditions including severe wind and rainstorms.
Our InsightBy utilizing the mobile COTS modules of the Inspection Platform, DMI modernized a once manual process, thereby aiding the department in improving productivity & ensuring data integrity.
MODERN DATA COLLECTION APPLICATION ENFORCES SAFETY
The on-board data collection application is built to support the completion of forms for inspecting vessels to enforce criminal laws, recreational boating regulations, and customs and border protection laws.
STREAMLINED PROCESS IMPROVES PRODUCTIVITY
The application eliminates the need for the organization to capture data on paper. Instead, data is captured and seamlessly synced with backend database for offline data storage. In addition, the heavy, paper manuals are no longer required as all manuals are now searchable from the tablet device.
The solution saves time by creating front line efficiency for the vessel boarding party doing the inspection. As a result, the inspection cycle has been reduced from days to hours.
