DMI has been the recipient of awards and accolades lately. Recognizing our contribution in developing apps for the smartphone market, Appindex listed DMI as one of the Top USA App Developers 2015 along with nine others (no internal ranking). The parameters based on which the list was prepared, included main activity, industry focus and level of business focus. Under main activities, straight-up coding, UX/UI design, branding, and others were analyzed. Under industry focus, previous dealings with other companies and areas of operation were analyzed, while level of business focus took into account the size of companies they dealt with. Apart from these, company size, key clients and average hourly rate for the apps to be developed were also factored in. DMI fulfilled all the parameters to make it to the list and was pegged as “one of the giants”.
Apart from that, we have also been selected by AVIA (The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts) for 2015 W³ Award. DMI was one of the 5,000 entrants and bagged Silver awards for two things – our FoodKeeper App in “MA2 Mobile Apps/Sites – Education” and for our work with Aerosoles in the “Omni-Channel Commerce Experience in MA15 Mobile Apps/Sites – Shopping” category.
The W³ Awards “honors creative excellence on the web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning sites, videos and marketing programs”. The award, accessible to big agencies and small firms alike, is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body comprising of the crème de la crème from media, advertising, interactive, and marketing firms.
Earlier this year, DMI received the Webby Award Honor and also won two American Advertising Awards. All these bear testimony to our team’s constant hard work and dedication and go a long way in boosting morale.
