The Mobile Entertainment Awards reward companies doing outstanding things in the mobile content space. After winning in both 2012 and 2013, DMI has been nominated in two separate categories: Music App of the Year with Radeeus and Lifestyle app of the Year with Bacardi.
The Radeeus app is a music app that lets users listen to music in real-time with friends, celebrities, brands, and other users, no matter where in the world they are. The app was developed with the goal to create a global headphone splitter built on top of streaming services like Spotify, Soundcloud, etc., enabling users to access all of their favorite tracks and playlists from their favorite sources, all on Radeeus. The app has also already been nominated for the DADI awards in the ‘Interactive, Entertainment website, app, game or website’ category.
The Bacardi app was developed to target the at-home market, allowing users to make and create bar-quality cocktails. With a clean design, search and save functions, cocktail technique masterclasses, reward incentives and the possibility of creating and sharing your own recipes, the app is truly all you need for your at-home cocktail event. Through a fully integrated, cross-portfolio partnership with the Jamie Oliver Group, Mixed brings the art of cocktail making to the food and drink DIY-ers who want to learn how to make their favourite cocktails at home.
The awards ceremony will take place on the 14th of November in London and we are very much hoping to score a hat trick adding 2014 to the previous wins in 2012 and 2013!
