Anthony is the President and Executive Creative Director for DMI’s Brand Marketing and Customer Experience division, providing creative guidance and customer insights so that clients can acquire, connect with, and retain loyal customers in today’s hyper-connected world. With extensive industry experience in design, strategy, branding, marketing and advertising, Anthony helps build strong reputable brands and develop experiences for customers that drive business results for clients.

In 2003, Anthony founded the Pappas Group, one of Washington D.C.’s foremost full service digital and creative agencies. His multi-disciplinary and customer-centric approach infuses the latest technology with keen user insights. This approach drove successful campaigns for blue chip brands and startups alike including AOL, Blackboard, The Washington Post, Discovery Channel, AARP, Hilton Worldwide, Neustar, Rosetta Stone, The SyFy Channel, Treater, Social Radar and Volkswagen Credit, Inc.

Under Anthony’s leadership, the Pappas Group earned over 100+ awards, including Addy Awards, Webby Awards and W3 Awards.

Prior to establishing the Pappas Group, Anthony was the youngest Vice President and Executive Creative Director of Proxicom’s Brand & Experience Group, where he developed and executed creative strategy and interactive marketing/design for more than 50 Fortune 500 clients including Nike, General Electric, Mazda North America, Merrill Lynch, Mercedes-Benz, Gap Inc., Microsoft and Pepsi. Prior to Proxicom, Anthony gained creative experience at traditional agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi and Grey Advertising.

As a respected authority on the future of marketing and advertising, Anthony has been featured in the Washington Business Journal, has contributed regularly to Bloomberg TV, and has previously served as the Academic Director of Georgetown’s Certificate in Digital Media Management.
